Over the past 25 years we’ve learned to attentively listen to our clients’ needs and after putting some sagacious thought into the matter, we expanded our shim kit range not only in size & combination, but recently also added a more cost-effective range – better known as the F range or the 400 Series. We now offer 4 respective types of shim kit ranges and combinations – all available in both 300 & 400 series Stainless:

The Individualised Shim Kits Range: (Available in both the 300 & 400 Series Stainless)
Although the big combination kits are convenient, carrying them around on-site might may become a daunting task in certain environments, as some of these kits can weigh in at ± 35-40kg. We therefore added the Individualised- as well as the Light Shim Kit Range to our Combination Range a few years back and currently well on track in becoming part of our top seller range.
(These kits contain the full range of thicknesses from 0.05 to 3mm – total of 10 thicknesses per size)
- AB 400 & AB 400 F Include 50×50 & 75×75 shims only ranging from 0.05 to 3mm
- C 190 & C190 F Include 100×100 shims only ranging from 0.05 to 3mm
- D 175 & D175 F Include 125×125 shims only ranging from 0.05 to 3mm
- E 90 & E 90 F Include 200×200 shims only ranging from 0.05 to 3mm

The Light Shim Kit Range: (Available in both the 300 & 400 Series Stainless)
This range is often bought by training institutions, or in combination with laser alignment equipment for first time users. These seemingly limited kits are suitable for most common alignment applications but will yield some limitations when expanding your field of alignment.
(These kits contain a limited thicknesses range: 0.05; 0.1; 0.2; 0.5; 0.7 & 1mm)

The Standard Combination Shim Kit Range: (Available in both the 300 & 400 Series Stainless)
These timeless kits have proven to be the top sellers over decades, both locally and abroad, and was also the very first shim kits on the market. These shim kits offer the more “standard” combination of thicknesses and are still exceedingly popular today.
(These kits contain only 6 std thicknesses: from 0.05; 0.1; 0.25; 0.5; 1 & 2mm)

The Comprehensive Combination Shim Kit Range: (Available in both the 300 & 400 Series Stainless)
The Comprehensive Shim Kit Range will always be in high demand, as they cover a combination of an extensive thicknesses – and shim size range size range combinations. These kits are often kept on site and shims are drawn on demand for each respective alignment task. You certainly need some muscle to carry these kits around on site.
(These kits contain a more comprehensive thickness range from 0.05, including all thicknesses up to 2mm and some of which include up to 3mm)

- Easy open Double Throw latches
- Open cell core with solid wall design – strong, light weight
- O-ring seal – Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve – balances interior pressure, keeps water out

Each shim size and thickness are nested perfectly into clearly marked slots, ensuring fast and accurate availability when needed on site. Refill by purchasing individual shim packs as needed.
